“Slavik — how it really happened”
Pavel Derevyanko, Nadezhda Mikhalkova and Alexander Tsypkin will perform in Belgrade as part of the literary and theatrical project "БеспринцЫпные чтения" ("Unprincipled Readings") with "Славик — как всё было на самом деле" ("Slavik — how it really happened") program. The title of the play refers to the new storybook by Alexander Tsypkin, the author of stories about the well-known Slavik "Don't Tell a Lie," who, without exaggeration, has already become a cult character from "Беспринципные" ("Unprincipled") comedy series. From Mts Dvorana’s stage, the original version of the stories about the charming deceiver will be performed by actors from the film project and the author himself.
"Stories and its film adaptations about my favorite hero Slavik differ, sometimes even quite strongly. It is all the more interesting to listen to the original versions of these stories. The performers are wonderful: Pavel Derevyanko, who played Slavik superbly in the series, Nadya Mikhalkova, who also played a role in "Unprincipled," but a role that does not overlap with this hero, and her interpretation will be interesting, well, and me. I promise a completely new story about the King of Lies. A story that has not been filmed or published in a book…"
